The THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE Experience:

THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE is an interactive auditory art exhibit intended to help shift society’s treatment of women by providing attendees the opportunity to experience being on the receiving end of catcalling.

One at a time, participants put on a pair of headphones,   enter a dimly lit space, and intimately face this jarring reality while their own reflection hangs in an adjacent mirror.

as a father to a daughter, a husband, and a public official.
— Darrell Steinberg, Mayor of Sacramento, CA
